The Doc Holliday: Seating For Up to 8! For those that believe time with family and friends is best spent outdoors: meet the Doc Holliday. This model comes standard with the ability to seat up to 8 passengers (in the 170 floorplan) and comfortably sleep 5+. Whether you’re doing shuttle laps with your squad or taking the family for a weekend adventure, this model is the perfect blend of offroad performance and minivan comfort for those that like to get offroad and off-grid with more passengers.

Because our vans are RVIA certified, they qualify as recreational vehicles and can be financed just like an RV, with terms available for up to 20 years. Building an Off Highway Van typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the customization options selected and the responsiveness of the customer throughout the build process.
The Doc Holliday by Off Highway Van can seat up to 8 people in belted, DOT approved seats on the 170 floorplan and up to 6 people in the 144 floorplan!
Yes! You can add a rooftop tent to any Off Highway Van model to increase the number of sleeping areas in any floorplan!
The Doc Holliday camper van relies on 2 front seats, a 3-man convertible "Rambler" seat from Broad Arrow Components (that converts to a large additional sleeping area), and can also be optioned with 1-3 captain's chairs (up to 3 in the 170 floorplan) for a total seating of 5 - 8 depending on layout.

The expanding bed in the Sundance Kid measures 78" x 68" fully expanded and is designed to sleep north / south in the van, unlike standard static east / west bed frames. This layout maximizes interior space while providing a comfortable sleeping area.
The extra bed in the Sundance Kid is created by sliding together the two center-facing café seats, forming an additional east / west twin bed. This design adds flexible sleeping options without taking up extra space.
The Sundance Kid 144 comes standard with an exterior shower. The Sundance Kid 170 can be optioned with a convertible or fully enclosed interior shower, providing added convenience for longer trips or off-grid adventures.

The Davey Jackson can be optioned with 2 styles of galley depending on your needs:
Standard Galley: full sized drawers, integrated single-burner induction cooktop, RV sink, 130L Isotherm Drawer Refrigerator
Extended Galley: full sized drawers, integrated dual-burner induction cooktop, full-sized sink, 200L Isotherm double-door refrigerator
For the Davey Jackson 144, the expanding bedframe is your main sleeping area while the Mod Pod seat can be transformed into a small, additional bed.
For the Davey Jackson 170, you retain the main expanding bedframe (as well as the Mod Pod), but add another sleeping area with the center-facing cafe seats that convert to an additional twin sized bed.
Only need one bed? You can also remove the Mod Pod and replace it with an additional flip-lid cafe seat that acts as another cabinet for your gear.
Yes! The Davey Jackson 144 is our only 144 floorplan that comes standard with an interior shower. This can be an enclosed or convertible shower and can even be optioned as a full-sized wardrobe in place of the shower depending on your needs.
No! The Mod Pod seat can easily be optioned for other seating solutions, additional storage, and more. If you don't need the belted seating space for your build, we can replace this seat with a flip-lid cafe bench storage seat.
No. The extended galley is an exclusive feature of our Davey Jackson 170 floorplan. This exteded galley includes an integrated dual-burner induction cooktop, a 200L double-door refrigerator, full-sized drawers, and a full-sized sink!
If you opt for the "Convertible Shower" for your Davey Jackson 144 build, it can quickly convert from counter space to a full-height standing shower. Just flip the lid and add the curtain rod and you transform from counter space to a shower.

In the Davey Jackson 170, you have a few options for your "shower" slot. You can choose a less-intrusive convertible shower, a full-height enclosed shower, and even a full-sized wardrobe.
The Davey Jackson 170 can be optioned to seat 2 or 4 individuals depending on interior options. To seat 4, we option our 2-man, belted Mod pod seating solution to give you a total of 4 belted seats. Or, if you only need seating for 2, this Mod Pod seat can be interchanged with a flip-lid cafe storage bench with no belts that brings DOT approved seats down to 2.

Camper Vans hold their value much better than an average vehicle; especially when built on the Sprinter chassis and with high-quality materials like an Off Highway Van. With a proven Mercedes drivetrain, long-lasting, high-quality interior components, and an expanding market for high-quality used vans, camper vans retain their value exceptionally well over the years, making them a sound investment for those seeking both durability and resale value in their recreational vehicle.
They are actually quite reasonable to Insure! Most conversions are going to be around $100 per month especially if you couple it with other types of car insurance.
When it comes to camper van conversions, the experts at Off Highway Van have, especially recently, chosen the Mercedes Sprinter as the platform for our custom-designed vans. We have completed ProMaster and Transit Trail builds in the past, but we prefer the Sprinter platform for 2024 due to its availability and price point as well as its performance capabilities.
Our Sprinter camper van conversions come standard with a hitch receiver and are rated to tow between 5,000 and 7,000 lbs from the manufacturer.
Our camper vans are about as easy to drive as a standard pickup truck (and are a very similiar length). If you're worried about on and offroad performance, we offer Ride Control kits, suspension upgrades from Evictus, and even wheel and tire upgrades to make sure your van drives exactly the way you want it to.

Yes! Our custom-designed camper vans come standard with Reflextix, a Thinsulate insulation to keep your van cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
OHV Vans come standard with Reflectix and Thinsulate insulation to ensure your van stays warm during your winter adventures no matter how cold it gets outside. We even offer hot water on demand systems so you can clean up even when the temperature drops.
Our vans come standard with an interior chemical toilet so you can answer the call of the wild, without all the wild.
Air conditioning is available as an upgrade for all of our custom van builds and comes standard on our Pro-X models.
Every one of our custom-designed vans comes standard with a heating system. If you're looking for hot water, or an internal shower, we also offer a 4-season package for every van we build!
We offer two different floor plans that allow our customers to sleep 4+ people in their new van. The Davey Jackson seats 4 and sleeps 3-5 while the Doc Holliday can seat up to 7 and can sleep up to 5!
Our vans are custom-designed to improve offroad performance. We even offer upgrades that make your van more capable offroad including custom-tuned suspension, ride control kits, wheel and tire upgrades, lift kits, winches, and our proprietary Limited Slip Differential.
