The Utah Avalanche Center (https://utahavalanchecenter.org/) is truly a tremendous resource available Utah backcountry users. For over 40 years, the UAC has provided a place for observations, forecasts, and education to keep backcountry users safe. Many of us here at OHV, as well as our customers, utilize these resources to plan and prepare for our skiing, split-boarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or even ice climbing adventures. When the opportunity arose to contribute and be a part of their annual benefit show (The 28th edition now) - we were more than enthusiastic to help out, and show off a little bit of our van conversion work to an eager crowd.
The event was a major success with over $150,000 raised to help the UAC continue to keep Utah backcountry users safe. Similarly, it was a great way to celebrate and build excitement for the upcoming winter season. We expect to be back again next year, and look forward to continuing to utilize the resources provided by this great local organization.
